A daisy's truth
He loves you.
.
.
Pick, pick, picking apart
A daisy
Lie by lie.
Fragile petals of snowy white.
So pure. So bright.
As the school girl plays
her lover’s game,
And the small boy pulls her hair.
Pick, pick, pick
Apart
The daisy you found there.
He loves you not.
The lies the petals tell:
Somewhere the truth is around,
Just look where the petals
.
.
fell
